Book-to-Film: Annie by Harold Gray

This is more like a comic-strip-to-radio-to-broadway-musical-to-book-to-film-and-back-to-film-again adaptation than just a boring old book-to-film adaptation.  Annie has been all over various forms of media in her career, and now she's headed back to the big screen.  Quvenzhané Wallis and Jamie Foxx are starring in the updated version, which is scheduled for release this Christmas.  Not gonna lie, the trailer is adorable.
I know what I'm doing this holiday season.

      I hadn't heard about it before seeing the trailer either, but it looks really cute!
